Default Anyone else's gas bill skyrocket??

F(*&!!!!!!!

Last month's bill - $127 (crappy, but manageable)
This month's bill - $346!!!!!

Its not like I use a lot of heat or anything. The heat is only on from 4:00 p.m., until 7:30 a.m. when the little lady leaves for work. Talk about a butt raping, this is just plain rediculous... Since I got the bill, I turned the heat off. I'd rather wrap my self in blankets, while dressed in sweatshirts/pants and slippers that have to deal with another bill like that...

isn't that nice?? Enjoy it while you can man.. I had that at my last place and took it for granted. I've liuved in my current place for almost a year now, and this is the first time its spiked this high.

It's not even the money really that is making me angry (well it is, but...) its more the fact that I'm about to buy a house, and was looking at one with 2200+ square feet. Thats damn near double the size of where I live now. I can definitely afford the mortgage payments, but I'm going to go broke payin' the f-in' heat bill.

At least when I own my own place I can install electric appliances..

Me too, brotha. I keep it warm as a ***** in my apt. At home we keep a good wood fire going most of the time to help out.

we were on one of those budget programs...and we pay the same amount every month..well, it turns out, after the fact, that we were eligible, so right before winter hit hard, we got a heating/cooling bill for 900 dollars.
