electric is generally more expensive than gas, but the cost of gas is high this year, so they are about the same. hey 40, when that happened to Leviii, he had a hot water leak under the slab floor, and was heating the water constantly. it got from under 100/month to over 500. you might look into something like that. make sure the units are close to the same, and its just the price per unit thats up drastically.

Some biomass a.k.a wood is what they used back in the good old days. Those prices are only going to get worse.

dont worry you "utilities inc." people, rent will rise with the prices soon enough. then once they go back down a little, your rent will stay up, and the profit margins will increase for landlords.

My house is on my dads companys prop. So I can keep a eye on all are trucks and earth moving things and such. My dad and mom wanted a nice home on the lake and a pretty yard to have to mow and not a pavement yard and a shop,18 wheelers, dozers, and all that good stuff. So it worked out good for me. My house is considered part of the company and everything is free for me and a tax right off for my dad.

Oh, I know. My landlord knows it too. I don't know what he's thinking. When I renewed the lease back in JULY, he said "I'm losing money on the utilities so I'm going to increase the rent NEXT YEAR." I don't know why he didn't do it this year, but I didn't say anything.
