watsup guys i am plannign to get an indash dvd player, only problem is i dont want it to get stolen and i dont plan on getting an alarm for awhile, has anyone had their indash stolen here????? any tips on preventing getting an indash stolen besides getting an alarm

 

IF your not going to get the alarm, just dont go around showing it off to much, you never know whos listening. At night just cover it up, I hope you got the detachable face. You can buy fake alarms, which are just a blinking L.e.d so it looks like you have one.

Let me tell you though, if that does get stolen, your sure going to regret not getting the alarm.

 

I havehad mines for over a year and nobody is messing with it, hands down you should give your car more attention and your indash will be fine.

 

if they want it bad enough, they're going to get it one way or another, alarm or not.

 

well if your windows are tinted...they may not be able to see it....but if you do invest in an alarm..be sure to get a quality one...you get what you pay for

 

idk man, with Civic (atleast my 96-00 gen) you have to like take the whole dash off to steal it, so if you have an alarm, the person better know what they're doin. And if they got time to take hte whole dash off and steal it without the alarm going off tehy deserve it

 

yea i already got an led light in the car that came stock with it and it blinks, i understand completely that i may need an alarm in the future and i dont plan on showing it off, but im jus to stubborn i dont want to spend money on an alarm now [&o]

 

just buy it haha

 

Alarm first. Then in-dash.

 

If you got the right in dash unit, theivery shouldnt be a problem.... Eclipse headunits ftw!
