I agree w this. With ur 1st bike, most likely u will fall atleast one so the Ninja is cheaper to learn on. Then u can go up to honda or suzuki.

I would love to have a go on a Yamaha R1. Has to be the rawest of the superbikes.

 

GXR 1000 are crazy too, but R1s are the best bikes out there too me....

 

well for a 1st bike...i mean its up to you. id still get about a 600...the gsxr 600 and cbr600 would be my picks. as far as the 1 id really want, an r1 . just be careful when learning or you'll be on the pavement..QUICK.

How tall are you? I dont know about the rest of you Cyclists,but I'm 6'4" and I cant fit on a 600.
Those nice little grooves for your legs in the sides of the tank are about 2" too low....
Not to mention how ****ing skinny the damn things are....

I bought a used BMW for my first bike. I also had never owned one before,only rode my friends scooters. The BMW was a 650 and is one of the best handling bikes. After I rode it for a year I bought a new 900 BMW and rode it for 9 years before I sold it. If I ever buy another bike ...I would only consider another BMW. But that's not something you can tell someone in so many words...it has to be experienced first hand to understand why BMW's are so much better than any other bike...period. You either know it from experience or you can't accept just being told.
