I'v heard the Traxxas electric 4tec are fast. But if you want real fast then get nitro. I have four of them. And yes it is a very high dollar hobby. I'm working on my Buggy right now. Ran into a brick wall.

My toys:
Team Associated RC10GT
Team Associated TC3
Traxxas T-MAXX 2.3R
GS Racing Storm Buggy-

i might just take apart my electric for fun and see how it works, then maybe change some of the parts for better efficiency
cam gears, pullies, or whatever it has

What kind of battery does it take? I know the more cells you add the faster it goes.
My cousin had the X-Mods rc car and i added 2 AA to the 4 AAA making six cells.
That little thing screamed.

When you take yours apart, its a good thing to take lots of pics. Just so you will know how it goes back together.

here is a pic of my buggy takin apart:

ok, im thinking about putting on a home made supercharger on it, but i dont know where to start
i was thinking about using a rubber band, but that wouldnt hold very well, and it would break because of all the power this baby is gonna be pushing out
any ideas?
