I can honestly say I have never heard anyone call someone else that before....nor have I ever heard those words in the same sentence together.

 

no there was no radar, on the ticket he checked the box "estimated" and "clocked" not "radar"....i wasnt gonna ask for proof cause then id sound like a smartass and that the last thing i wanted...to make it worse i was 2 houses down from my house wen he came flying down the street......the road he said i was speeding on was 3 streets back??? doesnt that mean he didnt clock me???? im not sure what that means........i tooka right and a left before he was even near me, and they werent quick turns either, like there was some road to be travelled on each one... i dont see how this is fair, i didnt get pulled over on the road i was speeding on and he can estimate how fast i was goin and its written in stone???? and the fact that itd b reckless endangerment makes me even more pissed, cuz its a frigin lie and if i really was goin that fast then im sure hed make a point to charge me with that.....i dont kno what to do.....i want to take responsibility for speeding and id pay the ticket but thats not how fast i was going! but i kno no1 is goin to believe me....im 17, im surestupid kids try to fight their tickets all the time regardless of whether they did it or not.......without a doubt that guy is trying to make a point for teens to not drive so fast, the way he acted towards me was very harsh and aggressivly and there was no need for it....im thinkin he had to make a quota and me beingthe scape goat he jus finished it out on me

thats some pretty good stuff misha, as always........i dont kno though, ive already admitted to him i was going 45 so id be looking more to get the charges lowered than just to throw them away, cuz i was speeding........i just wished i did all that stuff that site mentions, im a little scared i dont kno enough about the legal system nor did i pay attention to all of the things it said like taking pictures and the cop's plates and stuff....but im not one to just get into the fetal position and let this cop rape me with B.S.......and do u kno what "clocking" means?? im a little confused on how that term is used..............but thanx for that site nonetheless, at least ill kno wat to do next time, but i hope and dont think there will be a next time, then again i made a promise to myself to never have a first time..........[:@].

 

by "clocking", im assuming its the same as "pacing" if theres a seperate box for "radar". that usually means they go about the same speed as you, and estimate your speed by comparing it to theirs. i hate that. that means they are going at least as fast as you are, and if they dont have their lights on, why is it safer for them to drive over the speed limit than anyone else? and if they are going a little faster than you to catch up, its pretty easy to think the person you are catching up to is going faster than they are.

 

yea that is what i thought.....but he couldnt have clocked me in that definition of the word, because he was never tailing me in the first place, when he pulled me over i was on a totally different street than him, the only reason i pulled over was because i saw his lights and tohught he needed to pass, this has happened many times b4 because i have some elderly neighbors who sometimes fall, the cops are alwaysthe first ones to show...im a very attentive driver and i check my mirrors fairly often and i kno he wasnt following me close enough to tell my speed, if your 100 yards away how can you tell someones speed??? he was hiding somewhere, i never saw where he came from because he was never close enough for me to even notice he was there.......this whole entire ticket is based off of false everything......its really annoying that the police can basically do whatever they want, ive always had a lot of respect for police...but in situations like this, my opinion is beggining to change.....

 

i would get a ticket lawyer and explain it to him. they are usually about the same price as a ticket, sometimes a little more, but they keep it from going on your record. and i would rather give my money to a lawyer for doing me a service than to the county/city for a BS fine. if im straight up caught doing something wrong, ill just pay the fine and go to traffic school, like im doing with my last ticket, but if the cop is in the wrong, ill fight it.

 

Well, clockingcould besmth different.They measure a distance between whatever milestonesthey pick, and then just use a stopwatch to get your speed...

 

hmmm i would love to kno how he went about clocking me......i really wish i knew where he was too....i woulda asked these questions if i wasnt so scared sh!tless lol i guess ill jus ask them in court
