First of all, i never said that the reaction by those who are burning flags and destroying the embassys (sp) were correct in thier actions. I do not now, nor have i ever, nor will i ever support thier tactics. I don't agree with the exremists going around killing innocent people and doing what they do. However, you talk about the islamic radicals in the last decade. These radicals were created by us. We have created the demons that we now fight. We went to Afghanistant and convinced the locals be become fundamentalists and then told them at the Soviets would not allow them to practice thier religon. That was followed by us giving them a whole bunch of weapons. After the soviets got thier *** beat and left, we cut and ran. We left thier country in rubbles and without an economy. And we sit around and wonder why they don't like us.

I also have a few issues:
1. You don't see americans or europeans going ape **** when islamic extremists burn their flags
2. They want to execute the cartoonist for that? I thought Islam was a religion of peace....
3. Why aren't islamic leaders doing anything to stop this violence
4. It's ****ed how these people think that a cartoon is the ultimate insult and flying an airliner into a building to kill 3,000 people is the righteous work of God
5. These people just wait for the Western civilization to fart the wrong way and call it an outrage
These are also the reasons why I'm against the war in Iraq. Saddam kept it all under control - not that he's gone, it's a chaos. There is no way that damocracy is ever going to work over there, because damocracy depends on freedom. Freedom is in turn dependant on tolerance, which these radicals lack.
Bottom line is that Danes should have machine-gunned all of those that destroyed their property (embassies), just like the French did in '79

2. True, the exectution is a bit extreme.
3. Well, their PROPHET has been bastardized. They're probably pissed. But it is a good question why the moderates haven't stepped forth. Maybe they'd be viewed as a traitor and infidel.
4. 3,000 is a small, small number compared to the number of civilians our cute little Iraqi excursion has caused. The Gulf War is still bringing suffering upon those people because of the uranium shells the military used.
5. When you've seen the top, and now you're at the bottom, even "farts" can be seen as tools to raise yourself back up.

because i decided around 6 i was taking a 5 hour nap... well ok.. i kinda just passed out on the floor..aka my bed.. and slept snuggly there till a lil bit ago...

a couple of classes?? jeeze asswipe.. i have more classes that count then you.. i could go for a 2 year degree in geology right now but i dont wanna cause then i have to worry about transfering that whole degree and starting over again.. i dont wanna hassle..
and yes.. i actually do work for the federal government with a student work study program.. my friend lindsey is a accountant.. and i know what the hells going on via the fin. side of things because she tells me everything...
