http://mankato.craigslist.org/pts/1017693431.html
Im going to fix it up becuase i got a job interview for subway and they said they are probably hiring me so im gonna use all of that money and put it into this car if the guy emails me back. i have done alot of reasearch on the 83 944 and its a really reliable car, rated top 10 in its day. i do have one question tho. what is a Position sensor? and is it a major thing to fix right away?

Good luck paying insurance on that one...
I kind of want to know how he has a clear title for the car if it's an abandoned car; I was under the impression that abandoned cars require a special title, which would mean the title isn't clear. But the position sensor depends... which position sensor? Throttle position? Crank position? I'd assume it's the CPS, in which case you might want to get on RR'ing that.
btw, have fun DD'ing a porsche.

i didnt think it was about the brand of car i thought it was about the motor based on insurance. im paying about 87 a month for insurance what do you think it would be going from a 1.6 4 banger honda to a 2.5 4 banger porsche?

Honestly, I couldn't tell you... I'd expect it to go up a bit though. And you have to remember, it isn't really brand of car, it's the class the car is in. For example, my mustang is a v6, so it's classified as a "passenger car" (lol @ anyone who thinks it can carry more than one passenger); I pay $1164/yr with liability. If I'd have gone with a gt, it would be classified as a "performance model", and I'd be paying $2xxx for the exact same coverage. I'm pretty confident the porsche will be considered a sports car though... the lotus elise is a 4cyl and there's no way it isn't considered one lol

Nope, the '08 Elise was the first one offered with forced induction (in this case a blower)... and it still only makes a little over 200hp. The elise's advantage is the fact that it weighs (almost literally) half a ton, and it's little more than a go-kart on wheels as far as handling goes (thanks in part to the 1,200lb curb weight, as well as the suspension).
