Given the longitudally-mount engine, I'm going to go with f/r (front-engine rwd).

*edit: I am goooooooood. Wikipedia confirmed, it's F/R

man that is a cool looking car and nice price for it too? If you know the subway job will hold up for you I would go ahead and buy it after some researching. At the very worst you would just have to sell it if it doesn't work out. I had a project 180sx but because of a job loss among other things I needed to sell it, took about a month but I got rid of it, unfortunately like all projects you will put more into it $$ wise then you will get out of it.

They make LS1 conversion kits for those cars, just so you know. Very nice, reliable cars if taken care of.

a LS1 conversion would be really nice/fast in this car I bet? Plus the parts would be a bit cheaper and a little easier to find I would assume not to mention pretty much any decent mechanic can work on a LS1

Me and a friend were thinking of making an SR20DET fit into one. Just by looking at the mount locations and the torque tube it seems a task of medium difficulty.

that would be awsome, an sr powered old school porsche would be alot of fun and have alot of aftermarket support, cheaper parts etc. I love the exhaust note of the sr motor by the way, how cool would it be to see an old porsche blast by, exhaust just wailing out the tune lol and thinking what motor is in there? Plus that would be a pretty reliable daily driver with decent fuel milage

Screw the nissan/gm crap. Swap in an f20c

And drew, you should've sold me the 180sx... go buy another one and I'll trade you the mustang for it... I'd be the only person that doesn't deliver mail rockin' the rhd where I live
