Well I want to get this civic. Im going to try and work a deal out with this guy.

He would sell it to me for 6500 bucks. Its a 1200 mile drive to get it(both ways). It has a dent on the hood as you see and a few scratches.
How much would you pay? Is it worth my drive?

I dont know how much it would cost to get a little dent out. Is this why this car sold for under 6000 bucks? Anyone have a unlimited account with carfax? He guarantees it to work and has 100% feedback from selling cars. If its not what he said it was in the listing he says he will pay for the trip back.

I found this other one close but it has 138K+ miles on it where the one above has 109,700 miles on it. I mean are these cars good for a long long time?

This is going to be my first car. My parents are unsure so I came here to ask. Its why I joined this forum to ask questions so why not ask.

KBB value on the car with the dent is like 7000 for poor which it is not poor just that one dent.

Plus its a 12 hour one way drive down their from where I live. It would be 900 to ship it vs 300+ to go down their and get it.

 

Nice car, looks great except for that dent, might be a good excuse to get a carbon fibre hood. Also a great excuse to go down to Florida.

yeah carbon fiber hoods are lighter. if the owner took the car in for tunes ups regularly and oil changes and the whole 9 yards then it'll run for another 109k miles just fine if u do the same. sounds/looks like a good deal to me.

 

6.5 isn't a bad deal, and 1200 round trip isn't that bad either; especially if you make a weekend out of it and hit up the beach.

 

Well it would be a 2 day thing. Would getting the other car the blue one without the dents be a better deal? I could pro get it for 6500 too and it would be less of a drive.
