I have worked 25 hours over time between last Thursday and lastnight. I get home around 6:30 a.m., go to bed at like 7:30 and wake up at around 4:00 p.m. just in time to get ready for work again(5:30 p.m.)

sounds like fun...that sucks man, iv had crazy hours before too..it really dones suck but then you appreshate the days you get off after, and the best part about it ..PAY DAY!!, when you get that pay check you will have a big smile on your face saying it was worth it

 

yea I should get paid around $1600 for the last 2 weeks.

Ehh I know what you mean.. The semester started 2 weeks ago.. and going to school full time.. 5 days a week. And working close to full time. 35-40 hours...usually 6 days a week. It sucksss. And my school is about an hour away, so I spend 2 hours commuting. [&:] O well...gotta get my education!

O but now my boss is talking about promoting me, to a position that would require full time dedication.. so that would mean I couldnt really go to school... Im debating taking online classes, since it would be a nice pay increase...

Hope you get some rest..and spend that paycheck on something for yourself since you deserve it!

 

Stay in school..get any piece of sheep skin that you can. There will always be work for educated people. Then your problem can be how much money do I want to make this year.

 

Dogmeat, so that is why people straight out of college with degree's in their hands are having trouble getting/finding job's? I rather be a tradesmen and get my lisence's because there will ALWAY'S be a need for plumber's, gas fitters, H-VAC worker's and Septic workers, and possably an electrican

Amanda, it's really good your getting your education if that's the route you want to take. I remember you saying you work for Well's Fargo and I saw them on TV today, it was some program on the History Channell about how banks have changed in the last 200 years or whatever, anyway it seems Wells Fargo is a well established banking system that is going to be around for a long time, and if you like your job, I would recomend going for that promotion. Remember money is not everything, and what's wrong with online course's? In reality chances are you will never use the **** you learn in highschool/college, but that only apply's to certain jobs so you don't truely need to be in a classroom.
