apparently dave chappelle the comedian checked himself into a mental institution in south africa this week, delaying the release of season 3 of his show from the date of may 31st. does anyone know if theres any truth to this story?

 

well i heard he checked himself into rehab......so this mite just be a rumor. (i hope so cuz i love the show)

 

Also heard that this monring on the radio.

 

Yeah, it was all over T.V. last night as well... damn shame. BUT, i guess he needs to do whatever hes gotta do to get his *** back on my t.v. making me laugh again.

it's true. msnbc did a story on it. apparently he checked hmiself into a mental institution, not rehab. they said that it wasn't from drug abuse and that it wasn't just to recover from exhaustion, but he's really battling with some serious issues. i guess taping for the show has been postponed indefinately and comedy central is creating shows to fill its slot [sm=boohoo.gif]

i guess its a tough life to have to make skits, tell jokes, and smoke KB all day..

 

well i guess i could understand why he would go a little insane after a while. i hear "i'm rick james bitch" and "YEEAAYYYAAA! WHAAAT?" enough as it is. imagine trying to go to the mall with you family and random people run up to you every five seconds to do an impression of it

 

it drives me insane as it is
