Default dead 12v jack-how do I replace?

I know this probably isn't the right place to ask this question, but I don't know where else to look. I have a dead 12v jack in my 96 civic, so I can't plug my ipod in to charge. If anyone knows how to replace/fix it or where to redirect me I'd appreciate it.

Have u checked to see if its connected?
Take the screws out from under the dash to check. Maybe it's disconnected.
