I know these questions might be more fit for the Transmission and Suspenision threads, but what are the advtanages of a Limited Slip Differential? And you want a camber of zero right? And if not, why?
all cars are different... im sure only a few cars will have 0 camber, most cars have like only a couple degrees camber... depending on the car like if its a race car, passanger vehicle, light truck etc...
The main advantage of a limited slip differential is found by considering the case of a standard differential where one wheel has no contact with the ground at all. In such a case, the contacting wheel will remain stationary, and the non-contacting wheel will rotate at twice its intended velocity – the torque transmitted will be zero and the vehicle will remain stationary. In everyday use on typical roads, such a situation is very unlikely, and so a normal differential suffices. For more demanding use however, such as driving off-road, or for high performance vehicles, such a state of affairs is undesirable, and the LSD can be employed to deal with it. By limiting the velocity difference between a pair of driven wheels, useful torque can be transmitted as long as there is some friction available on at least one of the wheels. (yes taht was coppied from Wikipedia)
and for a normal everyday Daily driver you would was you CAmber to be at 0, cause it will alolow the tires to last longer and give you better gas milage, for perfoamance purposes you can have negative camber, so that when you go arround a corner normally the wheel will bend out a little giving posative camber, if modified correctly the wheel will have 0 camber when going arround that corner giving maximum grip..... at least i thiink that is how it works... if i am wrong someone will correct me. my memory has a tendency to come and go at times, so i may be wrong right now...
