well thats how i usually do it. i cant speak for other mods or admins. i cant tell u the last time i locked a thread.

 

anything i say that's political in a non-political thread is just joking around and go on for but a couple posts max

anyway, by you bringing up that it turning into politics will cause the thread to go off topic has caused the thread to go off topic more so than it was

 

Trust, I think you misunderstood 90Civtegra's point. His point is that the forum doesn't want to see any personal attacks on people's political opinions. If comments remain civil and respectful, as your comments usually do, then there should not be any problem.

 

as i stated in another thread posted in off topic, its already off topic so it cant really go "off topic" since it already is. I just wanted everyone to know since ppl were starting to discuss it that anything out of hand and it would be shut down.

Now we just need all mods and admins to be on the same page on this issue.

 

because the thread started as cindy mc cain drifting now its a train wreck people can't stay on topic thats why they get locked.
