well, you know me and my girlfriend, and out dodge products...my brother and father also only drive dodges, as my bro has an old muscle car...and a new hemi ram...but my next car will likely6 technically be involved with dodge, and have AWD...if you follow my drift...

 

I sell parts for DaimlerChyrsler and I really like the SRT8 Charger but I still would rather by the SRT8 300C. They are also coming out with a new SRT4 which will no longer carry the Neon body, they are producing a new body style just for the SRT4 and beefing up the power estimating around 1/2 second faster in the quarter then the "Neon" SRT4 (Chrysler even at this point doesnt consider the current SRT4 a neon ence why its listed seperately under Dodge's website) regardless though they are not going to keep up with the STi and EVO unless they make the SRT4 AWD!!! All they have to do is us the old PTU (Power Transfer Unit [AWD ppl!!!]) out of the 95 - 99 TSi Talon! They could shave another 1/2 second if it was AWD and then they'd have something to actually compete with Subaru and Mitsubishi. JMO

 

here is the "scoop" for those of you who care. the neon is being dumped after next year, and after this year, there is no SRT4 slated for production. the year after the end of the baseline neon ends, the new platform will be produced, and it is called the caliber. SUPPOSEDLY it is sharing a platform with the Evo, but whereas the evo is AWD, and caliber will not be. they should have called it the "dodge vibe", because that is what it looks like...ive seen it in person, and while im not happy with the flagship performance car being a 4 door neon...this bothers me even more...an F'ing station wagon?!?!?

it is rumored that they are packing more power into it, but in order to sell this newest POS they NEED to pack a ton of power into this piece of garbage

that thing does look just like a pontiac vibe which in turn that is just a toyota POS. Does anyone make their own cars anymore? Even though its before my time I still know that you'd never find a 60 something camaro with a toyota motor in it or 60 something dodge charger with a mitsubishi motor in it!!!!! All i gots to say is that the new charger is a disgrace to the chargers of yesteryear. The new mustang however i love. Best bang for the buck.
