Mallet Pontiac Solstice Conversion

Here is the general idea:
Take a supercharged LS2 6.0 V8 corvette engine(Talking like 480+hp) and drop it into a lightweight roadster. Fun!
they even have a supercharged 7.0l

good lord, but they said they havent released the supercharged and turbo models yet, but hell, the ls2 in a 2100lb frme (rough guestimate of weight) thing has to be a monster!!

We debated this to death the other day in auto shop. The solstic is not cool. The coolest thing i prolly ever saw was a Chevy Astro with a LS2 (not sure if its LS2 might be on of the other vette motors) corvette motor with 100 shot of nitrous. It had a cut out exhaust and it was pretty crazy. THe guy made it blow fire through the exhaust.

 

i gotta say. its pretty nice. id rather have a s2000.

the kappa platform cars are a joke, and theyre going to be a joke until the cobalt SS drivetrain is in them, instead of the regular ecotec...as i have run the same slowstice twice, and both times, the lowly dodge has handled him.
