Want to make some really cool bombs? First off, you need to make a ball of solid rocket fuel with holes cast through it. Fill these holes with flash powder.
Then, make some smoke powder (I prefer a mix of 2 parts zinc powder to 1 part sulphur powder) and mix it with a little bit of epoxy resin and hardner. Just enough to make it a thick paste. Put this paste around the outside of the ball of the rocket fuel. This will seal in the flash powder and also add a cool effect to the beginning.
Note: This final step is optional and DEFINITELY not safe for someone who hasn't worked with powerful, primary explosives before. If you choose to try this, I take no responsibility whatsoever if you blow a limb off, or kill yourself.
Finally, apply a thin coat of resin and hardener to the outside of the current ball of explosives, and add powdered acetone peroxide (I'm not going to go over how to make this as it's VERY dangerous.) This will make the explosive pressure sensitive, so store it in a cool, dry area (for a max of 5 days) and do not drop or bump it around. It WILL go off.
Usage: These things go off like grenades, so find a safe place to huck them. When they hit the ground, the AP will detonate, lighting the outer smoke bomb shell. This is where the epoxy comes in. Normally, ZnS ignites rapidly leaving a large plume of smoke in the period of half a second. The epoxy controls the burn and creates more smoke. Once the ZnS layer has burnt through, the flash powder will ignite rapidly, along with the outside of the rocket fuel, causing a large explosion.
