DSC Future car
i watched it, and i found it to be incredibly stupid.
it is obviously heaviler GM-backed, so they spend all of their time at GM facilities...the last episode that i watched followed around these 8 or 10 junior car designers, while they designed RIDICULOUS looking cars that will never be built...nothing about their designs is remotely practical...

Yeah, the episode with the GM **** was kinda lame.
But I do like the ideas they have about the "highway matrix" as in where cars communicate with the road, which communicate with you, the city, and the internet as one system. I think it's quite possible for roads to be considered "smart" roads.
They claimed they are already using various sensors and etc.. in Cali, but they are in their first statges of development. I think it's quite possible in our lifetime to see a huge turnaround in car design and operation.
But I do agree, some of these prototypes are completely ignorant, and alot of them won't ever see the road.
