I was going to, but I was broke from the rest of the parts... and the guy said he was a certified mech and all that good stuff, so guess it's just my stupidity. I needed my car for work, but now i gotta wait longer.

Sadly enough, no. Unless you call running on 3 cylinders running... lol. The heads at the shop now, getting the valves and a pnp done. Since its all back apart again I'm thinkin of throwin some better pistons in. I'm thinkin that since I spent all that money already, I might as well put a little more in. But I'm workin on figuring out what pistons I want. It all looked hot put together though at least. I got some pics but havent had a chance 2 upload them yet.

I got the d15b7block I took my head off like a week or to ago. That head was warped and the values were done.My block is in good shape I have to flush it cause of the head gasket.Cylinders looked good just a little metal flaklits. What belt did you go with.I was thinking of going with a head gasket kit which one would you suggest. What block do you have?

My block is a d15b8... I used the z6 timing belt, Definitely flush the the coolant --> radiator, overflow, block, heater core all the hoses... and replace the thermostat. I would suggest when you put it back together, take the thermostat out, put the hose back on and just flush the complete system. And when it runs... run tranny fluid instead of oil for about 15 minutes... then regular oil, and change that maybe twice along with the filter to make sure everything is out, the antifreeze can seeze your bearings. As far as the kit. I didnt buy one. I got the y8 head gasket (3 piece metal gasket, and removed the middle section) and the valve cover and i.m. gasket.

*** edit***

head bolts should be really easy for you to find, everywhere I called had them for that block but not mine. And I would suggest taking a little extra time to paint the valve cover, and maybe a few other things, you'll be happy with it.
