and i am defending you by saying that idiots who doesn't understand the whole situation, comes up with their own conclusion, and then tries to demoralize you by putting your quote on their siggy and trying to make a mockery out of you, thinking now they are on top of the world because they have insulted you. btw "you" as in general, not you directly reaper. Oh well let idots be idiots, don't really care much.

hmm? I'm not sure what we're talking about... when I said about GTRs having v12's, I was quoting my friend ryan (the guy with tha cavalier)... I know skylines have the rb26 motor (which definitely doesn't have 12 cylinders lol). What I'm complaining about is that baker's sig makes it look like I think they have v12s.
I understand what you mean, it looks like baker's out to make you look like a moron. If thats the case, you can fight back with something like this in your sig:

ORIGINAL: baker
ORIGINAL: reaper2022

Nissan Skyline GTRs are v12s, but the pistons are only the size of a half-dollar [/quote
learn to quote, @$#

(disclaimer* I'm only saying this as a joke, and I'm not encouraging a battle on the internet)

welcome to the club. import has me in his sig lol
But you had a genuine "blonde moment" in front of a whole website. You thought headers had lame neon lights in them when in reality the header was glowing because of the heat from the exhaust.

yes I did say it, because i didnt look at peg's or who ever it was link, i took a glance at it. It was not until i looked at it the second time that i realized it was the heat, but by then i already posted the comment.

Point in case, i reallly could careless if someone has me in their sig trying to make me look like an idiot.

Im sure they will make a mistake in the near future, and someone will pick it up and make them look like a fool, continuing the childish cycle all over again

Peg once PM'ed me apologizing to me because he thought he was being rude to me. I will tell you exactly what i told him. As administrator he has every right to tell if am breaking forum rules for I am here to learn about cars, not start trouble.

okay, I feel the need to bump this thread... why? Because I watched the video from this thread and it had me laughing. Not because of the video (not that it wasn't funny), not because of everyone here's comments. Why? Because the guy in the video's comment "I blew a piston right outta the block in the old motor" reminds me of some of Ryan's stories (actually, it reminded me of story #1, but that in turn reminded me of the other ones).

So gather 'round, kiddies... it's story time!

Story #1:
Dude, I was cruising scalp avenue the other nigh... I was in my step-dad's RX-8*, and this '99 civic SI comes up along side me. It was a sweet car, man... it had a hundred-shot of naws**, a t3/t4 turbo, low-comp pistons, and all this other stuff***. Anyway, we're racing and I get past him and look in the mirror... and all I see is smoke pouring out from under his hood... anyway, we pull into this parking lot alongside the road and start talking about what parts he had on his car and everything***... Chris, I could've gotten you a turbo kit for free, man! The guy said it wasn't worth it to rebuild the car so he was just going to abandon it there... but it was bad, man... he shot a piston rod^ through his hood!

* As much as I hate to admit it, the kid's step-dad does in fact own an RX-8. Unfortunately for Ryan, it is not a "twin-turbo Mazdaspeed version"...

** I have yet to hear Ryan say the word "nitrous"... every time it's "Naws"

*** My friend Blake was here for this story... we both LOL'd after ryan left... who would honestly just sit in a parking lot and calmly discuss what parts they had on a car they just blew up?

^ Umm... "piston" rod? I believe those are connecting rods

Story #2:
Dude, so I was cruising around Johnstown at a stop light the other night, at it was raining like crazy. Anyway, I was at a stop light and this kid in a blue '99 civic SI* is next to me revving like crazy. So the light turns green, right? And this kid just takes off to turn left... and I mean takes off... like his wheels were spinning and everything. Anyway, I just laughed when I saw his front wheels turn and he kept going straight**... he put it straight into a telephone pole across the intersection... I was like, "poor civic."

* I've noticed probably 90% of Ryan's stories involve blue '99 SI's.

** I'm not even going into how this is possible... the way Ryan was talking, the car was barely moving when the front wheels lost traction. Actually, in the version of this story he told my friend Blake, smoke was actually coming from the rear wheels of the civic...

Story #3 (probably about 20 minutes after ryan left my house*)
Chris? Dude, you're not going to believe what I just saw**! Okay, so I just got onto 219*** and I saw these two cars getting off 219... there was a silver skyline^ and an orange supra^! Dude, they were getting onto plank road, and they both did amazing burnouts! You should go out onto main street and check them out, I bet they're heading your way! I think there was a car show or something, 'cuz those cars were awesome. That silver supra^ was nice, dude!

* From my house to the 219 interchange is about 8 minutes... so what has Ryan doing the other 12 minutes?

** You have no idea...

*** the onramp for 219 is about 500 feet before the offramp. Also, 219 goes under Plank road, where the offramp leads to. There is physically no way for Ryan to have seen cars doing burnouts going onto plank road if he was on 219.

^Yes, the cars changed colors halfway through the story.

NOTE: I'M REPEATING THE STORIES RYAN TOLD ME. I DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING HE SAID, I'M SIMPLY QUOTING HIM FOR EVERYONE'S AMUSEMENT

okay, little update here...

Probably about two weeks ago, Ryan decided he wants a car that's "all go, no show"... yeah, that's right. The kid with the body kit says his car is going to have "no show". Anyway, I talked him into letting me pull his park bench off (ever pull an aluminum wing off a car in 40 degree weather? You can't feel your fingers after the third bolt). That day, we got to talking, and talked him into trading me his Treo subs and Fosgate cap for my Volvo td04 turbo (I figure if I'm spending the money to boost my civic, I might as well get a big turbo).

So the other day, we were on our way to the local ski resort to go snowboarding, and we started talking about his "turbo build". He still insists that his jet module will automatically adjust to the turbo (I don't see the point in arguing about what a $225 chip can and can't do), and he's saying he doesn't plan on running an intercooler... at all. Honestly, I'm not going to warn him about the dangers he's exposing his engine to... I figure if he's a big enough dumbass to boost a car with no intercooler and no tune, he deserves to blow up his engine. Apparently, I'm helping him with the install this weekend... I kind of doubt that'll happen, but if it does, I can't wait to see what happens when a turbo build goes horribly wrong. Oh, and apparently we're cutting apart his AEM CAI to use it for custom intake tubing. I can't wait
