Today at work my brother was driving about 80 in his cruiser. A car passed him flying and he realized he had to have been booking so pulled him over. The driver refused to give him identification and my brother then realized he was high. After searching the car he found methinfedimines (sp) and suringes (sp). My brother went to search the driver and while doing so sliced his hand open on a razor blade the guy had concealed. The man then turned to my brother and said "Now you'll have aids, just like me," and started laughing in his face. My brother then slammed his head into the hood, leaving a dent, and put him in the back seat. Driving to the precinct he then slammed on the brakes at every light and stop sign, while the man in the back slammed against the barrier every time. The tests will take 6 months to get a definet answer. He went to the hospital to get his blood drawn and has to go weekly I think to have his immune system checked, and has to start getting viral shots just in case. My brother is a very fare person, and for this to happen to someone just doing there job makes me sick. My family is in tears and we REALLY NEED YOUR PRAYERS to make sure this all works out. My brother has been feeling extremely upset all day and I just needed some people to talk to about it. Thanks, Ben.

 

I hope ur brother is alright. The HIV/AIDS drugs are pretty good compared to before and i think they put you on a drug coctail that reduces the chance of getting the virus.

 

Ben, I'm really sorry for your brother. I believe there is a high probability he will not get infected, though.

But this sucks big anyway.

im not a beleiver but my families best wishes go out to your brother......if im not mistaken isnt it a crime to knowingly give aids/hiv to someone?

 

Thats what i think. The HIV/AIDS virus cannot live outside the body for more than like 3 hours. There are also relativly less AIDS cells in blood compared to other bodily fluids.
