What is a GT40r? and what are forged internals? And how much cash is invested in the car?
forged internals means the pistons and stuff inside the engine are forged when made making them alot stonger. as for the gt40r my first guess would be a turbo or it could be a "r" model of the ford gt40

a GT40R is a garrett GT series turbo and a GT40R is a pretty big turbo for a 4cyl fwd car period. The 900awhp AMS Evo is running just a slightly larger turbo(GT42R)

"700 to 800 hp"
Thats a lot for a 4 cyclinder....how is that possible? For one its not that from stock more like 140 from stock or so? At least the neon is somewhere around there stock. If they did that to that car you can do it to your civic too if you have the deep pockets this guy has.

He had to do a lot!! to get that 4 cyclinder to 700hp.
I've read of a 900hp B18C (bored to 2.0) running on methanol. Just need a turbo and a very efficient build.

Just amazing. But is it fuel efficient still after 900hp?
