I seen that after i posted it an read it again. For some reason i can not edit my post when im at work. Only when im at home. Must have something to do with all the fire walls they have here.

 

Never said that or implied it. I am saying I don't complain about receiving a ticket for breaking a law that I definitely broke.

I have 4 points on my license... none in the past 18 months. The 4 points were acquired in 2008. I actually had 7 but I did the traffic school thing to subtract 3.
I was going 70 in a 55 because I thought the speed limit was 70 (actually a pretty funny story... driving on US1, thinking I was on I95... scenery is extremely similar. I had no idea I was speeding until the lights came on behind me).
And well, the 4 were from "improper lane change resulting in accident". Used my signal, checked my blind spot, barely started to change lanes and I hear a car horn. I quickly swerve back into my lane and the lady driving the car reacts by swerving off the road -palmface-. Accident could have easily been avoided by her since she could have just driven on the whole lane-wide concrete shoulder or never even swerved since I was only on the line when she honked. Anyway, it happened and I have the points and paid the fine. What's done is done, and since I'm not 100% sure how it happened i'm not going to argue with the results. The lady was fine and got a new car out of it. I just wish I knew how it even happened... I don't understand how I could have missed her since I made sure to check my blind spot and everything. In hindsight I suspect that her headlights were off (it was during sunset so they should have been on) since I don't remember seeing any and they were definitely off after she crashed. Anyway, that's just speculation... wish I could find out though.


But yea, now that I know you meant it's a lot to be speeding by, I don't need to argue anything with you... I just misunderstood you. I believe we are in agreement with 20 being a lot to speed by and i'm sure you recognize that "you reap what you sew".

<-- got it for street racing, 4 speeding, run redlight, and 1 driving wrong way.. you just got to take it to court and explain the situation.. and of corse befriend all the local cops.. they can help you! lol.. seriously.. i got all of those tickets and i only have 3 points on my liscence, and thats cause i was in the ghetto lol.. went thru a yellow light and cop pulled me over.. searched my car, totally ransacked everything, got my tic-tacing corn EVERYWHERE thruout the car, then took my friend to the station cause she had weed and a bowl on her.. so i had to go get her out.. went to court n told the judge that it was a yellow light and i got the fine and points anyhow.. the comical thing about it is, Every ticket i got out of before, i actually did.. i was street racing, i was speeding, and i did drive the wrong way (by accident, it was an un-labled 1 way alley)... and got out of em.. the one thing i diddnt do, i got the points for.. it was yellow, i diddnt run it lol, but oh well, i guess karma came back and bit me in the ***.. anyhow, moral for paragraph is.. everyone gets tickets, it dosent make you a bad person lol.. live and learn from it.. i still speed sometimes but not like before.. and racing on the roads is soo ****ing stupid, i wanna smack anyone who does it right in the face and kick em in the nuts.. its sooo stupid. Kill yourself, not other people comming home from work....

 

I was young then. I have slowed down alot and im lucky if i go 5 over the limit now. lol I was 19 then and im 25 now. My insurance is down to $37 a month now. When i first got my honda i was paying $262 a month. That was more than my car payment.

 

Wow, $37. Mine is $118. Never paid $262 though... insurance company tried to go from $160 to $240 for a 9mph-over-the-limit speeding ticket so I said screw you, cancelled my policy and switched to Geico.

 

My insurance never went up because of my tickets. It was the from the get go.

 

i pay like 650 bux every 6 months.. it sucks

I have paid 170/month for my insurance since I started driving lol... and Im selling the swap for 1200, but right now some kid is trying to trade me his stock red sol for mine, yayyyyy i might win.
