ok so my friends dad has a ranger that needs the starter replaced (1993 4cyl m/t) does anyone know how difficult this is?
i have never replaced a starter or worked on a Ford but i feel that i can do it
is there any special tips or info i need?

and are fords a PITA like GM's? or does GM fall in a special catagory?

 

no its real easy it will be under the driverside where the trans and motor meet.
very simple job.
