Default Upcoming rides

As most of you know, my 90 hatch was stolen and destroyed. So I have been without a ride for a little while now. And I have came upon two great deals. I'm getting a 95 blazer for $500. Only thing wrong with it, is its hood was spray painted to match the truck, and the front bumper needs paint. Also, have a '90 civic DX for $400. Just needs tires. =)
Here within the next week or so, I'll be picking up the blazer. It got the nice v6 4.3 in it right now. I think I'll go midevil on its *** and drop in a 454. >=)
The hatch that is for sell is 3 hours away, and is being sold to me by my buddys mom. So I'll be picking that baby up after a few months. I have a lot of bills to pay off before I can go grab my toy. =) I'm still debating on doing another V8 swap in the hatch, or if I want to do a B18 build. Whay do yo guys think?
Pics to come when I pick up the truck.

Nice prices on both vehicles! Are you doing the Blazer like a 4X4 off-road vehicle, or a nasty RWD street machine? Either way it would be sick; I have a cousin with an '89 S10 with a stock 350 with the exception of cams and that things a beasttt... He has the exhaust dumping out right behind the cab, with no muffler or cat and you're just about deaf after a ride in it, and when he has his street tires on he can NEVER get traction. I would definitely say put a V8 in the Civic, though... You see built B-series engines all the time, but I've never seen a V8 Civic, in person, and I've only seen one or two on the internet... Congrats on the new rides man, can't wait to see pics!

Its going to be a RWD street machine. I hang out with a bunch of muscle cars on the weekends. Going to make it quick, and able to tow home whomever breaks during our rides. I know I'm getting full exhaust on it, running magniflow. To me, no other exhaust company sounds right. I love that deep, down low roar. =)
And the V8 Honda is still up in the air. As soon as my last V8 civic was built, it was stolen. Makes me kinda fear making another one ya know? I think I'll finish the car's build and security before I drop the V8 in it. Make it a lil harder to jack this time.

I'm just going to trade the V6. The 4.3 is a valued motor. I can get enough money from it to buy an old carb'd v8. =)

First thing I would do with the Civic is put a cheap alarm in it... but then again the only thief you know would try to steal it kinda took care of himself for you

I'll just put a shotgun special on it. Put it in the shop this time. When the shop alarm goes off, grab the shot gun and shoot whomever I see. =P
I'm going to run a nice alarm on it, with the cutoff system. Also going to have my version of toggle switches. I'm sneaky with this crap. =P I think I actually learned my tricks from this forum. Think Addicted posted a write up on it. So I'll take this time and thank Addicted for the writeup. =0)
