Last night me and my bf were having a conversation about 'us' and I said something about how he can come up with some creative way if he asks me to marry him. And he goes, or you can when you ask me to marry you. And he said he was serious and didnt think it was weird or taboo or anything for a woman to ask a man to marry her. I was wondering all of your thoughts on this. Maybe Britney has more impact on us than we all might have thought, after she asked her hubby. Thankss...


(I personally still want him to ask me, because of the romanticism of it all, but thats just my personal preference)

 

Traditionally it is the mans place to ask a woman to marry him BUT, this is the 21st century and there is nothing wrong with a woman asking a man nowadays. I myself am old fashioned and would ask a woman before I would let her ask me but that's just me. That's a big step to take and either way it should be special!!!!

Wow you and your boyfriend sound pretty serious, i dont get the whole girl proposing to a guy thing, I just cant see a girl asking a guy to marry him... And if u do does that mean you are the one that is meant to give him the engagement ring. Ripped off!! You should sit down and keep talking about it until you both come up with an agreement or a solution.

And remember, this isn't the 60's anymore........women are more active nowadays, so they want, but it seems most of them are still selective about when they should have the equal rights, which I don't think is right. (but that's another subject, so we'll stay focused on gettin you 2 love birds together)

i think he was asking 2000 low red si, and i think she is either 18 or 19. I personally know someone taht asked herboyfriend to marry her, i dont think it is wierd. but you guys are young, so take things one day at a time, cause you don't want to jump into marrige and waste all that money if you end up getting divorced(which a lot of marriges do)cause you could put it into your car j/k
