--- how about an old 240 or 260 if you're willing to spend that kind of $$$

Im looking primarily at 2 seater coupe sport cars, I am going to go check out a s2000. I liked the z but i didnt know they had reliabilty issues.

Though at this point I am looking at all options, stupid me but maybe even an RX-8 i like the way there styled. To me the car has to look good for me to drive it.

Okay so maybe I am more picky then i thought. but I live in oregon where it rains all the time. So I need a hardtop. Next thing is I am 6'1" i dont fit in miatas comfortably at all. Like I said I am going to be test driving an s2000 with the hardtop conversion. Thje saleman said he thinks if I fit in it its going to be tight. And call me stupid but I am just not really wild about corvettes. not sure why, I know they haul *** but I just am not a fan.

My buddy is 6'3"ish and he fit in the s2000 just fine.

Why do you want a 2 seater out of curiousity? Are yo ugoing to have a daily driver and this will be a toy, or is this supposed to be your dd?

EDIT: RX8's are crap. Check out FD RX7's, sexy, fast, handle like a dream, and from what I hear are an absolute blast to drive

Yes this next car will be my daily driver. I am going to sell the civic when the time comes like I said in about a year, But I will not be buying brand new, so I need to figure out what I am going for. Yes I like RX-7's alot but I am looking for something newer I have heard that rx-7's on average went through motors everk 50k miles. I am not sure what the Rx-8's have for reliability. I am also hoping to get something under 60k miles. And as far as seats, I like the idea of having a two seater but the more i think about it I realize that I need something with more then just 2 as the girl I am dating has a 2 year old daughter. She does have a car of her own but we all know we like driving our own cars better lol. And for insurance reasons it cant be an AWD turbo. so an STI is out of the question. And needs to be somewhat reliable

So my ideas........

Rx-8
350z
s2000 (maybe) Im still iffy on

And ideas of sporty cars with more then 2 seats? and yes i know 2 of those 3 are 2-seaters

RX-8 has a rotary I believe, so its going to be more expensive to repair if it ever breaks. You can buy a hard top for the S2000. Put it on in the winter. Take it off in the summer.

Insurance on an STI is way lower than most people think due to their excellent safety ratings. I'm 99% sure it'll be way cheaper to insure that than any of the other cars you've mentioned.

M coupes are damn sweet, I've heard nothing but good things so long as you can afford the maintenance (more of a BMW thing in general tho, but it's worth it if you can afford it). My mom has a '98 740i and the dealer she goes to is awesome, they'll fix little stuff for free whenever she brings it in for maint/repairs she's paying for, and she didn't even buy the car from them!
