A salesman that wants to sell a car period. Dress right and go in their like you own the goddamn place and you may be shocked with how they treat you. I went to a mitsu dealer like 3 years ago wanting to test drive a Evo. Now I know for a fact that I can afford to get one and I could then as I have both the money in the bank and shocking credit ratings for a person my age but they said they were going to need to write all the papers up, run my credit, and have me sign a couple things before they would let me test the Evo out. I told them to stick it and that they just lost the sale because of that stupid ****. He then went and got the keys and a dealer tag lol. Just let them know your not there to take a joy ride and be honest with them.

Nice cars, but the S2000 is better IMO but what ever gets ya all warm and tingly in the groin reagion
I'd rather get an old S2000 with an *** load of miles for cheap and rebuild the motor for boost. IMO that would be better than a 350Z. There is a guy around here with a 400+ HP S2k. The styling of the 350Z is OK but the S2k handles better and its a drop top and weighs less. The S2k is discontinued though.

wait a min, why is the s2000 discontinued, ur breakin my heart here cause i planned to buy onei n the next 1 to 2 years

I had somewhat of a similiar situation at the Mitzu dealership 3 years ago. I wanted to test drive an Evo and thats when I had my twin turbo 300ZX. I went in there with the attitude that I was very interested in purchasing an Evo and of course they said they would have to run a credit report to let me take it out. Even back then I had good credit and was making good money so I was fine with that. Well we get outside and are talking about the Evo and he asks if I could trade anything in. I point to my 300ZX and start telling him about thefairly newrebuilt engine, manual tranny, and turbos. Then I tell him all the aftermarket parts I have put on there. He then asks me what the year is and the mileage. I tell him its a 90 with a little over 120k and he says with the year and mileage he could only give me 500 bucks trade in. I look at him with a surprised look and said "Are you serious? I have put thousands of dollars into this car rebuilding it and blue book has this car in horrible conditionlisted at least 7000". I walked away from him and got in my Z and took off with enough speed so he could hear the turbos and blow-off valves. If hes going to try to lowball me that much and show me little respect I'm not going to even deal with him. ReallyI only wanted a joy ride

They dont sale worth a crap, Miata's are every bit the car the S2K is(no matter if Honda fans want to admit it or not) plus it is/was $4000 to $6000 cheaper. True the S2k is more true to the sprts car roots than any other Honda being a 2 seater front engine rear wheel drive convertable but compared to other true sports cars it simply is not a good value. If they were to offer it with a removable hard top and the RDX engine for about $3000 or so cheaper it would be a world beater but they dont/didn't and in the end it is a under powered car with a lack of torque, space, the gas milage on them actually sucks, and atleast IMO the dash/interior design is absolutly retarded.

I would say that too if I drove a Corvette.

Formost Civic owner's, an s2000 is a nice upgrade. Either way, the Z is a nice car and if that's what you want, go for it.

It has nothing to do with what I drive. Even a civic owner needs to weigh their options because you are either going to buy a performance car that performs and gives you a good return on your investment as far as performance for the dollor or you are going to buy a car simply because it is a Honda. Like I said even though I drive a Vette I would not shy away from buying a Miata for it's abilities. There is a reason it is one of the if not the longest produced car in it's segment.
