I doubt ur gonna find too many places with go karts that are that fast. I was at Wiscolnson Dells one time and there were these "go karts" that were up to like 75 (i think). They weren't really go karts, more like race cars. You had to be 16 with a DL to drive them and it was extra if you wanted to drive them.

i too am a big go-kart freak like yourself. we have a coarse here in ohio thats indoors called SPEEDS. the karts reach speeds in excess of 70 mph. nuttin like sittin an inch off the ground drifting corners at 50 mph. its funny too, u dont realize how much u need to be in shape to drive one of them things. the first time i did it we went 8 laps around a coarse that takes anywhere from 42-46 second to get around, and when i got out i was sore as hell, u use every muscle in your body to go as fast as u can in the turns. SPEEDS shut down there old coarse and is rebuilding a new indoor coarse as we speak, cant wait till it opens!!!!!!

most karts wont go that fast because the places that run them govern them. otherwise there'd be safety issues and theyd get shut down if someone got even minorly hurt (including a kid tripping and scraping his knee on the way to a kart...stupid stuff like that)
