^We have something like that here too. One of my college roomates and I have an undying battle over who's the best driver. So we used to go up and run on the carts all the time just to prove it, haha.

I race carts in a league at 2 locations in MA. One being F1 Boston Indoors in Braintree MA ( I was in a pic in Sports Car International racing, I was kart 14 in the pic) and I race in F1 Outdoors in W Bridgewater MA...so anyone who complains about lack of a track in MA, STFU and go to F1.

Here is what our outdoor course looks like (its 1.3 miles long)

you can go to www.f1outdoors.com

here are a few cool pics :

yah its opened to the public. If you get a bunch of your friends together you can reserve the track for an hour of racing. I havent been much this summer. I usually try to practice at least 2 times a week. For a person coming off the street it will cost you 35 bucks and you get 11 hot laps around the sprint track in one of the lesser karts (top speed around 40ish).

If you want to get your racing license it costs 75 bucks and it lasts one season. You have to do a little training (basic racing sh t if you have your Super license in GT3 your fine lol) and then they start you racing.

No seat belts 65-70mph 2 inches off the ground with 30 other guys is a RUSH! lol
