My buddy's razr took a **** on him last weekend. It was in his pocket, and we were at a heavy metal concert, but not in the pits. Basically it was hot as hell, and he thinks the resulting sweat on his leg/pocket "waterlogged" the phone.

He lost all his contacts and their info and is phoneless for the next couple days.

 

its verry easy to get water damage in there. was it cold out side and hot inside? that would cause it. also there should be a sticker in the back. a tiny little circle. if its white. then it will be covered under warrenty. if its not then it has water damage and your friend is out of luck.

 

haha, we stood outside in line (25*F) then went into a ****ing metal show, then came back out and stood int he 15*f weather for a while. So maybe that is what happened,

 

that can do it... leaving it in the bathroom wile you shower can do that too. but tell him to find and check the sticker before he wasts money on something els.

...Unfortunately I think he's already sent it in.. But I appreciate the heads up, I'll let him know about that sticker and maybe he can catch it in time
