As soon as one start talking RWD I start thinking BMW I believe Andruha has one for sale
It's sold . I used to do all kinds of slides and brake stands in that car though. Good times.

To the OP: I would strongly suggest a 240sx. You can get one with SR20DET for around $6k. Where do you live? I know somebody that is selling one in cali for $7k - it's an awesome car.

Here's an ad from a BMW forum that I frequent. Thought you may find this one interesting, since you're in CA.

This is my friend's car. I am simply posting it up for him. It is hands-down one of the fastest cars i have been in/driven. I can say that this car is just as fast as mine in a straight line (supercharged e36 m3) and definitely track-worthy with some new tires.

First of all it is a 1990 240sx. The body has
125,100 miles on it but the engine has less than
40,000. starting with the engine. It is mostly stock
other than the intake filter and the turbo back
exhaust. I have given it synthetic oil changes every
2000 miles. The drivetrain consists of a very high
performance clutch (the clutch has not been
identified because the swap was done w/o taking the
tranny off), a kaaz 2 way LSD (diff oil change every
2 oil changes),and The rear hubs/bearings have been
replaced. On the suspension i have the stance
coilover system (8kfront/6k rear), ranted and raved
about on the track, and front and rear cusco strut
bars. Included with the suspension system is a
stiffer spring set wich consists of 9k front and 7k
rear. I replaced the front brakes with the j30 two
piston brakes for greater braking power (the rotors
were drilled by a c&c machinist). I also have some
aftermarket enkei wheels (16x7), bronze. On the interior i have a nardi steering wheel with steering wheel hub, a nismo gt shift
****, 180sx zenki seats, 180sx tach, blitz boost
gauge, and a sabelt 4 point harness (driver side).
Also encluded is a top of the line viper alarm with
a display remote (additional sensors in the engine
bay and doors). The frame is straight and i have put
all my love and care in to this car.

PICTURES ARE ATTACHED BELOW.

I AM LOCATED IN SOCAL (TORRANCE/CARSON)
Im asking $7000 negotiable.
call (310) 738-1618 to come see/test drive the car

That was my first thought too, since drbyers said "newer/cleaner" corolla. However - there was an RWD corolla - AE86. They are awesome cars. With 4AGZE or 3SGTE swap it would be a very neat car

there we go
Are you kidding me? $1500? I'd give him $600 - maybe. SR5 have motors that aren't worth ****. Find a GTS with 4age - it accepts boost well.

Just for the reference - I sold my BMW for $1800 and it's condition was incomparable to that car. Not to mention that it was modded properly. Who the hell cuts springs?
