so is it a void if the police officer puts the wrong month? and he definetly wrote down that there were construction workers present, when there wasnt. so im thinking that im definetly gonna lose my license untill im 18, blows right? :-\ my civic is stock too. gah. i hate popo.
any judges or police on here know if those things void the ticket? please tell me. :-\

 

i think that him putting the wrong month on it does, and if he put down construction workers were present and there wernt, he is an ******* cop, and you need to fight the ticket...how old are you???

 

That doesnt sound good do you speed alot maybe the cop has seen your car before and nailed you cause he was able to pull you.

Just because he made an error in the date doesn't mean it's invalid. You were breaking the law, and you are subject to punishment just like anyone else.

I get sick of people dodging bullets on technicalities.

I got a gay speeding ticket last year, you wont believe it... 83 in a 75 on the freeway!!! Yeah, not only did the cop wrote the wrong month he wrote my licence plate # wrong - switched the last 2 numbers - I brought it up to the pre trial lawyer and he laughed at me and said "The date is not in question because you were caught speeding. And if he wrote the wrong licence number it doesnt matter because he recorded your ID." He let me off with the 55dollar court fee and it wasnt recorded at all... I dont think fighting it will work because that only makes them defensive... it is even worse if the cop shows up to make sure the judge knows of his mistake...

 

i doubt itll void your ticket...........i went to court last week and my name wasnt on the docket nor the system in 2 different counties. i talked to the judge and he set me a new date. he said its a good thing i came up about it because sooner or later it would have showed in the system and i would have been totted to the jail. get a lawyer and consult with them about this matter.

 

Dude, if I were the cop, Id go ape**** on you for going that fast.

 

ya my buddy had the wrong date on his, they took off like $20 so you mide as well mention it..lets just say it cant hurt
