Yikes! Id be a little freaked out too... all sketched out thinking im going to puke a truck load of green stuff that used to be my guts all like Nicholas cage style from "The Rock"

Depleted uranium isn't that dangerous... It's hardly radioactive anymore. That's why they call it DEPLETED. They use it in tank armor now.

 

i would have kept it....but thats just me...

 

they used to use in in tank shells as in the shells of the rounds the tanks fired not the armor back in the Gulf war part one. Many of the tankers who handled these rounds got cancer (one of many Gulf War sydromes) so even if its depleted its radoactive noneless.

 

Yeah, depeleted uranium is extremely hard. 50 cal rounds would be tipped with it for armor piercing. I think such rounds are standard in Apache's 50 cals. And yes, they have been linked to some nasty cancers and birth defects. I'm pretty sure they're still used too.
