Here in Maryland every year we have a cool event called the Polar Bear Plunge! It is an event to help raise money for the Special Olympics of Maryland. Everyone who pledges to take the plunge into the icy waters of the Chesapeake Bay must raise money by being sponsored by other people.

I am taking the crazy icy cold plunge myself! Please if you can help this good cause by donating on my plunge page!!! My goal is set at $100 and I'm a little more then half way there. Dont hesitate to still sponsor me even if I have already reach my goal of $100, the money is for a good cause.

All money raised goes to the Special Olympics of Maryland. There is no profit from this event. It is put on by the Maryland State Police.

meet/exceed your goal yet?

 

I met my $100 goal and raised it to $150. I'm very satisfied with the help and support I have received from family and friends, especially you guys here on HCF who helped by donating. I'll do my best to try and get video of me getting into the frigid waters this Saturday.
