Holy Hell. I am back.
Man, that was miserable. My computer went down over a week ago. I feel lost. It's up and running though. I was just gonna replace the power supply but that turned into an all out mod frenzy and now I am hooked up with some new hardware.
Anyway, big week for me. I know I didn't tell you guys but I (got and) started my new job that I was telling ya'll about. It's a huge raise, which means maybe a few mods in the future. But speaking of mods... here's the story:
My buddy knows that I am looking for a CRX. He calls me and tells me that he saw one for sale. I call the guy selling it and he already has someone coming to look at it 30 mins after he put it out in his front yard. I call him later and the guy bought it on the spot. Bastard! I ask the guy who sold the car for the number of the guy who bought it. Turns out the guy is just looking for basic transportation but likes Civics. "Interested in a trade for a coupe?" He is. So now I have a decision. I can put the Super D back to stock and trade for the CRX... or not.
CRX- 1990 Si. D16A6, 133,000 miles. Straight body, Ok paint, interior is in relatively great shape. I drove it and it runs like a top. Feels like it may need a new motor or tranny mount though. Might just be bad bushings. Couple of other stupid bug-a-boos that can be expected with a 16 year old car.
So? What do you guys think?

personally i would stick with the coupe, but it is your decision, other than that the CRX sounds like a nice car, but i wouldn't trade a 94 for a 90 even if it is an SI. but like i said that it is your decisoin. see if you can get some pics of the CRX though
Yeah, I fixed it. I meant he is gonna let me put it back to stock before the pending trade. The Super D is fully blown and functional. Hmm, you reckon the SC will fit an A6?
What do you guys know about the A6 other than it's not vtec?

What's the stat on your car at stock? The CRX sounds like it's in great shape. I'm supporting the trade but I'd have to hear what shape your cars in (miles, interior, I know the engines good, etc.) to make a final decision. CRXs are awesome.
Sniper, man. You missed so much. I'm sorry I knocked you out of the top 10 posters list. But that's what happens.
Congrats on the new job. What are you doing now?
I'd be a little sad to see the Super D go, but you sure saved that thing from a certain ricey doom. So props for that. The mileage is pretty low on the CRX, so that's good. And since you're in the south, it's not a rustbucket like most of them up here. It would be a fun project.
