Holy Hell. I am back.
i had a 90 crx before my coupe. i actually sold my rex to get the coupe. i hated only being able to lug no more than one person in the car. but i do miss it. they are fun cars and with the wings west body kit they are beautiful.
If you do it we'll miss you here. This being a civic forum and all, CRX owners need not apply.
JK...
Yeah, post more info about both cars. and maybe some pics of the crx.
What would your plans with the crx be? truthfully if you plan on staying single slammer, I dont know if its worth it.

Geez, plans? I know that a plan is a very important part of a build, but I just am not a great planner.
I was thinking...
-Build a gnarly NA A6. High compression, lumpy cam.
-Mini-Me with either the Z6 (9.95:1 CR) or the Y8 (10.33:1 CR) and go from there NA
-Mini-Me SC
Rockin the D
oooooooorrrrrrr.... (say it aint so) B16A *gasp* from the proceeds of the SC sale.
ps- I do believe that the Crx is a "Civic."

CRX is ugly. Keep the super D. Sell the Supercharger, get a turbo with some EAgle H Rods and SRP Pistons and tune for like 275 WHP. Theres a plan. Stock sleeves are good till 300whp.
The A6 is a NA engine by birth and any sc'ing or turbo'ing will need a complete reabuild with lower compression if you want it to last. I say keep the coupe, it's newer, you allready have a good setup going, and the CRX's have super bad rusting problems in the rear quarter panels.
Even with the CRX's problems, Id look at it as an adventure. Sure he could keep what hes already got, and make nearly 300 horsepower, but would he have as much fun? I say go for the CRX and take on a challenge.

I heard the same thing from a couple locals with CRX's. They have the potential to be phenominal AutoX cars, but at the same time they are pretty ugly/outdated. My vote is to stick with the coupe
