The Honda Civic...Number 1 **** starter.
You guys are missing the point completely. There is a large differance between shooting someone on your property or entering your house and setting a booby trap. And that is you are there in harms way. It is completely legal for you to defend yourself, but it is not to defend property when you are not there. The courts construe that as placing the value of property over the value of a human life

I had my car broken into on Xmas eve. Buncha **** got taken that I stupidly left in there.
The 2nd time I got jacked my stereo got stolen.
The third time my speakers were stolen, and my subs and amps. This was in daylight.
And finally the 4th robbery was when my spoiler was stolen. Also in daylight.
I don't trust alarms (tho maybe I should). When I hear an alarm I don't bother looking. Does anyone? I would like some alternative safety measure tho.

You might think I am wrong or hard but to me if you steal you have no value. Most people work pretty hard to get what they have and you going to just steal from them because you want drugs or something. Go get a job and work for it yourself. The government has programs for people that need help. There is no reason that someone has to steal stereo equipment or anything else for that matter. This is where the law fails the victim so it can protect the guilty.
I remember my old Kenwood deck had that feature, Picture a squealing alarm going off inside while the doors lock and you have 2 - 12" speakers, 4 - 6.5" mids and 2 tweets blaring at you @ around 1500 watts
