I've had more near misses than I care to remember in the last year and I wouldn't sell my bike (unless I was getting a new one). Motorcycles are dangerous buisness, thats just the way it is. You gotta go someday, might as well do what you like.

^^ oooocbr nice what cc do you have, I really like the 600's Ive been looking at a few here for summer. I thinl insurance here though is more, im not sure Ill have to look into it. Im assuming all you guys that ride bikes have the proper licsense?
I'ts an '01 cbr600 f4i... I love it

and actually, I do have the class-m endorsement... I took the MSF course less than a month after getting my cbr, too.

And I'd like to point out that a good 80-90% of bikers' near misses are the result of a driver in their nice safe steel cage yapping on their phones, typing on their laptops, putting their pants on, etc instead of paying attention. I'm not saying bikers are never at fault, but still....

There are also alot of people on bikes who don't know what they are doing/irresponsible as well. Riding out side your skill level is also a problem. Drivers are probably the biggest problem though. They can't see you and even when they do they don't care.
