Black metal you are giving the dumbest advice you could possibly give. Just because you work at a dealership detailing cars doesnt mean you are a honda pro and then state/give advice on how to ruin a tranny in one shot. You might as well dump metal shards in the gears while you are at it.

it wont do one single thing to the car as long as you dont do it at every stoplight. Hondas are hondas, though its not good to abuse them, they can still handle it. Must we repost the video of those dumb as.s kids trying to break that civic and they cant do it ?
Once again, you have managed to give crazy stupid advice. It will mess the car up to a dire extent. A honda is a good car, but its not invincible.

well i dont drive an auto, so i guess i dont know any better either
Exactly. Then dont say something idiotic to encourage damage to a vehicle.

P.S. on a side note, neutral dropping is not worse... going from reverse to forward like that is worse for a tranny. Infact, the super stress it would recieve on such a stop and reverse action wouldnt surprise me if it broke on the first try.

Please dont. If you hate your current tires so much take them off and take them to a landfill or something. Doing that with an auto tranny will damage it and you just never know when it'll let go on you. Take it from a guy who went through 5 auto transmissions in a week once(not in a civic though).
thank you, thats all that needs to be said, instead of trying to make someone look stupid

Not the greatest idea to do a tranny drop (reverse or neutral to drive while revving)... doing a burnout in a stock Civic is just plain stupid, anyways. Not only that, but... pulling the E-brake in a Camaro is counter-productive... the e-brake locks the rear wheels... the rear wheels drive the car, therefore you are locking the wheels you want to burn out in... *shrug* guess no one else saw that? Also.. it's not HP that will break the tires loose... it's TQ! Either way... a stock auto Civic has neither one. LOL... if it were me... I'd find a puddle somewhere to get the tires wet... lock the e-brake... and stomp on the gas... if that doesn't do it... you're screwed. LOL

I just drive EVERY SINGLE one of the cars, so yea i get curious and I test them sometimes... The guy wanted to know how to do a burnout in an Auto, so i told him a way that I have done it before.
What dealership do you work at?

hey guys dont bash the guy, he was just trying to help
its just killing me to go from an 2002 400hp camaro to a fwd civic that cant even spin the tires........i like the car its just way different than what im used to. so what do i need to do to the car to be able to do it?

my camaro was stolen out of my driveway and put back before i even realized it was gone, but they had the dude on camera doing 125 in 35 and wouldnt beleve that the car was stolen. and you know what that did to a 21 yr olds insurance....

you're doing fwd automatic burnouts in new cars, you admit you don't know better, and you think it's funny. anyway, camaro dude, your civic doesn't make any torque. do a search, you will find more info on the subject.
