How much are you paying for gas and where are you located?
It's about the same here at about $2.13 and $2.16. Actually, the gas prices are officially set to increase due to OPEC's upcoming production cut. They're going to cut oil production by about 1.5~2.0 million barrels a day I believe. That will equate to at least $80.00 a barrel after the initial cut. This will immediately take effect around december or the beginning of 2009. So no, gas isn't going to stay low, thanks to OPEC President Chakib Kheli.
I saw it by my house today for $1.98. I live in St. Louis, MO, and I heard on CNN this morning that the national average is still like $2.39. Not sure how long it is going to stay this way, but this is most definitely the lowest that I have seen it in quite some time.
