the cleaner found three things but it wont repair them cuz it says they are duplicate names, whats a really good software that will get rid of all these problems?

 

Add the suite of programs recommended by asdfbrenden on page 1 and download and install CCleaner to get rid of temp files and other unnecessary stuff.

Your computer was secure, the popup was the problem. Most of them arebait and switch type programs. They either say you have something when you don't, or they install something harmless and then for only $39.99they will be happy to remove it/them for you. If you had just closed the popup all would have been fine.

The Cleaner has a spotty reputation by-the-way. I don't know any knowledgeable malware forum that recommends it.Use it at your own risk.

 

house call works perfect. it removes trojans from my comp, and i use AVG for constant virus checker.

 

i did close the pop up, every 5 minutes , it just kept popin up and i would close it. but all is good on my computer now, igot .torrent for Mcfee total protection with everything and found out it was Adware and removed it asap
