Also what about mentioning the impact of these "ecologically friendly" hybrids on the environment? Like polution from production of the batteries and than recycling them.

Try and rephrase the rhetorical questions on the intro page and match all tenses.

And yes, 2nd year mechanical engineering sucks, but you just wait for your 3rd year, lol, you'll wish you've already graduated.

You need to re-read the definition of hybrid because in your history part you are using it to describe things that are not hybrid. For example, you mention that the steam engine and a battery power car are hybrids, which they are not. You're basically using the word incorretly to describe alternative energy sources.

Trent, you need to tighten up the writing for clarity. Just as an example, this section seems unclear to me:

Some people may say, “Well what about ethanol?” While ethanol is an alternative fuel, it is not a hybrid. Reasons being are that E85 is used in internal combustion engines and it does not really improve gas mileage even though it is better for the environment and fossil fuels are not being used up in its creation.

Maybe it would be more clear written something like this:

Some people may say, “Well why do we need a hybrid car when we already use ethanol (E85) for conventional combustion engines?” The answer is that, while E85 is an alternative fuel, it does not improve gas mileage even though it is environmentally friendly by reducing our need for fossil fuel. By contrast, a hybrid engine significantly increases energy efficiency.

Also, the three paragraphs are not logically organized. For example, the middle paragraph would seem better developed into the final paragraph.
