I need a truck
My parents don't like how I drive on dry streets, so they are worried about me in the winter (for those of you who don't know I went in to a snow bank last winter screwing around). So my parents said they are going to buy me a 4x4 vehicle to use for the winter seeing as I have to drive almost 30 miles each way to school every day. And out there it isn't as urban, so I'm doubting the snowplowing will be the best out there. What are some suggestions on what I should look for? I've got probably close to 2 monthes til I'd have to really find something, but if I find one now they'll probably get it. They'd spend probably around 3k I think.
My thoughts:
Rather have pickup, more useful
Obv has to be 4x4
Preferably 4/6 cyl, not spending $10 a day in gas
I'm going to look at Cherokees, chevy pickups, ram's, not a fan of ferds tho.

um hello...... ya'll forget about my jeep lol, and i got the jacked up chevy 4x4.
grab a jeep grand cherokee any year from 96-98 dont get the limited edition (all wheel drive) they suck and they come with the big v8. the laredo like i have is perfect for snow driving the transfer case has clutch packs in it to allow control. last year i passed the snow plow doing 60mph with 4in of snow on the road lol
i have my big 4x4 chevy up for trade for a civic or integra.
