I say go for it, if you play your cards right this could be very profitable for you. Research though...my advice would be not to just jump into something until you know exactly what it entails. Good luck if you decided to do it!!!

and because of that - it's the buyer's market right now. This is a time to get an investment property. I've been thinking about investing into real estate for about 2 years now. I even completed the courses to get a RE license, but never had time to take the test. I just need to figure out where to get the money for the down payment.
to the OP: make sure you do a lot of research about the general location of this complex. Also, it's a very good idea to hire an inspector, just to be safe. For all you know, the building could be in a horrible condition (can't always judge that by the looks alone)
