I'm getting pretty frustrated right now with my car....That's mainly why I'm playing with the idea of getting something else...Aside from the fact that my friend Mike has an '02 RSX type-s that's black on black with bronze rims........I would make sweet love to his car if he wasn't moving to TX with it. *sigh*

I've also discovered that not only am I going to be replacing the injector in Cyl 3 tomorrow but I have to investigate why I'm having to put oil in it every 2 weeks. I also discovered today that my clutch is starting to slip and that I'll have to replace that as well. Everything at once seems to go wrong with this damn car.

 

Hm....how about I tell you about my car...dumped 7K into it over the winter...now it needs about that same amount again this winter just to satisfy me and I know that it's a lost cause since I can't fit larger tires on it anymore and it's FWD....but heck...right now the car doesn't even make boost and smokes like a blown diesel.

 

I wish I could stop driving my car for the winter and fix all the stuff that's wrong with it but I can't since it's my dd. I've already given up on the idea of putting 16's on it and getting a better suspension..... I just don't see it as being worth it anymore. I'm just trying to focus on the main things right now like getting the injector changed out (which will hopefully solve my running rich problem which result in me getting only 24mpg), finding out what's causing me to go through oil like nobody's business, get it painted so I don't have to redo all of the body work that I had done to it over the summer to get it prepped for paint.

mHmmm...I do take things waay to literally when I'm 1). sober 2). not trying to insult anyone...

 

I know.... I wish I could envision it having ***** too but I can't just quit driving my car to do a swap...... I can't exactly walk to work.

 

Well I've been known to buy beaters and work on my car while the beater ran....it's easy to pick up a POS for around 3-400 that will run for -8months...hehehe and than sell it for a profit too.

Hate to ask, but you sure it's an injector? It could be something simple, my dd was running rich, and I thought it was the injector and turns out it was the spark plug wire. Obviously you've pulled plugs to see which is running rich, I'd try the wires before getting an injector.
If you had an extra set try switching the one with one of those. Or it might be the dizzy rotor, just a few things to check before spending $100+ on an injector and not fixing it.
Maybe run some seafoam through the gas?
