Well it's not the case. GM could stop making pushrod V8's today and need not to prove anything else with them. They have also been making 320hp from a over head cam V8 that is the same displacement as Fords famed 4.6 mod motor for going on 20 years while Ford is in 2010 just getting to 315hp.

No I was just pointing out that the M3 was not stock. Also, the Ultimate Areo desperatly needs a rear wing because the car has no high speed stability on turns.

Does it being stock or modified really matter? A sexy car is a sexy car; if that weren't the case, then there'd be no point in modifying a 15-year-old civic

And yeah, when you build a car that holds the current world record for both fastest and most powerful production car on earth, you can complain about the SSC's handling at 250+ mph
