speaking of jas...are things starting to look better? don't feel bad about lying to get a job. think of it as a necessary way to end your suffering.

 

Whatever you do, don't get a credit card to pay you're bills. Don't get one at all for that matter. You will regret you ever did if you get one. Look at how many people in this country that are in debt from credit cards. Most of them for tens of thousands of dollars. i'm sure you see the commercials on TV for credit card debt. You've been warned. And don't start selling things either. You'll wish you didn't later on down the road. Good luck man. I feel for you. Some of us who think we don't have much don't realize how lucky we are.

 

i heard a couple of days ago that most of America is only 2 paychecks away from bankruptcy.

here's an update.
rent is paid.
i talked to my managers at work, I'm not going to quit.. for now, I'm just not going to work that much at all. maybe 40 hours a month.
also, my mom did fill out the papers for the loan, I should be getting that soon.
that should cover the rest of the semester.

I really think I'm going to take a break and for the rest of the semester and then look for a job in Jan.
it's probably best that I don't stress myself out again by getting another job just yet.
I really need to get my oil changed and my tires rotated.. so I'm going to do that today.

I guess that's about it.
Instead of having $15 in my account, I have $45.
Lol.. its a little better.
I do get paid on friday, so that will help also.

i might just take u up on that offer in the next couple months.
i going back home to see my family on the weekend of Oct 14th, and we're going to sit down and really discuss what I need to do.
i'll definitely bring up the restaurant thing. An Applebee's was just built around the corner from me and that would be perfect.
I love Applebee's and I know pretty much the entire menu already. lol.

 

I had my oil changed and tires rotated today.
I was hoping that was all I needed.
As usual, the guy comes out and talks to me about a list of things that need to be done to my car.
So, I'll just go ahead and list them.

1. STANDARD BRAKE JOB REAR SHOES parts=59.99 labor=65.00 total=124.99
2. BELTS parts=28.28 labor=35.00 total=63.28
All together, its $188.27. If I get it done, they will subtract $35 dollars that I was charged last month for a brake clean-up, as it's very obvious I needed more than that.

Here is the second list, which he called preventative maintainence.
1. POWER STEERING FLUSH parts=49.94 labor=30.01 total=79.95
2. BRAKE SYSTEM FLUSH parts=35.95 labor=42.00 total=77.95
All together, its $157.90

I know what you're all going to say.. just do the brake yourself.
If I could, I'd do it... but I know NOTHING about cars.
I wouldn't even be able to change my tire if I had a flat.
If this is service that needs to be done.. I'll just have to charge it on the credit card.
