How do you turn it off? Or can you actually have it to where it turns off by iteself or something? Or do you just leave it running

^ you hvae to hold the play button to make it "sleep" it wont fully turn off, there is sleep, and deep sleep, the deep sleep happens after about 12 hours of sitting alone. you have to press the menu button to get it wake up then

No no, I knew that. Im saying does drbyers have to constantly reach in his glovebox to turn it off?
And Fiirk, is it ok fo rthe ipod to remain in the on postitions for long extents of time? I was just going to install it in my car and let it play constantly.

^ once the ipod stops playing it will automatically go to sleep, then when you get in the car just turn it on when you get in the car. and be sure to have a charger plugged in in the car or it may die on you when driving if you using it long enough.
